Since one base station can receive field data from multiple vineyards it makes sense to cooperate and share the cost of the base station and internet connection. This is the reason for initiating the Mt. Veeder Irrigation Data Co-op. We all share the need to use water wisely.
Below is a map showing four vineyards where 25 nodes are currently placed for soil moisture acquisition. All data is available through a single satellite web connection at Camalive Vineyards.
