2019 Highlights

Newest member of the family joined July 10, 2019 is vizsla, Hunter. He was a little shy at first but, has quickly made himself at home. His birthday is January 23, 2018.

Briana and Nathan at winter break sharing some of the best clam chowder in the world with me.

Soon thereafter they took me for a monster Boston Lobsta.

Nanette and I together over 2 years now. We had a nice excursion to Palm Springs in early Fall.

Lots of home maintenance and improvements made this year. Windows replaced, termite and dry rot in some window frames repaired. Water damage from deck drain leak repaired. New breakfast table, induction cooktop. New paint for the whole house exterior.

Here is Anjanette concentrating during a team fitness competition.

Cameron with his KTM motorcycle at purchase. This one he sold very soon after.

Here he is with his Kawasaki Ninja 600cc rocket.

Here is Cameron on the Kawasaki at the track after some modifications to the fairings. Part of the original fairings blew off at 115mph.

Got Cameron's, now my, 68 VW tuned up for daily driving May 14, 2019.

I have been writing a song called Donald Don't Tweet Me Lies and am up to the 8th version. He keeps perpetrating more impreachable offenses which inspire additional verses.Old Donald V8b

Acquired another old car to restore, 1980 Triumph TR7 in October. Took 7 weeks to rebuild the whole fuel system to get it running after sitting 30 years in a Palo Alto Driveway. The 68 Volkswagen with Cameron built 2 liter engine has been a gas to drive around town.

Caution: Depressing Story about an ugly divorce mostly for the benefit of the traumatized. I suggest you skip the paragraph below unless you want to know about the 800lb. gorilla of the year.

The biggest event by far of 2019 was that the divorce reached a final settlement, signed on February 15th, just short of three years after our separation. It was an especially ugly settlement.

Lawyers wrapping up the Final Settlement Paperwork.

In a case of adding insult to injury she stopped me from acquiring the Napa Property by refusing to take my $300K higher offer and then lied about what closing costs she would pay, to get me to accept a lower offer from a third party. A groundless $100K lawsuit threat by her was just icing on the cake. At least now it is completely clear that the divorce was warranted. They say divorce is very bad. That's an understatement in this case. Moving on ... , the rest of the year wasn't half bad.
